Seaview House, Camp & Conference Centre

This project was the challenge to demolish the existing facilities between the residential block and the sports center to create a multi-use space and additional accommodation which would combine previous development works at the campus to be attractive to the ever growing conference / retreat facilities sector . Currently this center is predominantly used by children and youth groups from across Ireland.

The centre is conveniently located within walking distance of Kilkeel town and harbour and enjoys stunning views of the Mourne mountains and in the central circulation area the focus was given to capturing these..

At Seaview, good quality produce is sourced to make tasty home made meals and the extensive kitchen and stores provide allow this important aspect of the offer to function.

Recreational facilities at the centre include a fully equipped sports hall, pool room and a large outdoor area.

The main conference area seats up to 100 people and is equipped with full audio/visual facilities. It can also be partitioned for use by smaller groups.

The centre can accommodate between 35 and 80 people in dorm style accommodation throughout the new building and existing house.
