Shopping Centre
Oaks Centre, Dungannon

Since the construction of the extension to the Oaks Centre in 2000 the shopping centre was extended again in 2008 and in 2009 with additional retail floor area and the creation of two franchised restaurants. Multi-national retailer Sainsbury’s have in addition to establishing a petrol filling station on the centre site also acquired a substantial retail presence in the centre becoming the major and anchor tenant in the centre in 2008.

The design and construction of the latest extensions to the shopping centre have been project managed enabling all retailers in the complete centre to operate fully throughout each construction phase with the minimum of disruption to staff and to the centre’s customers.

Each extension has been designed with forms and a materials palette reflecting the architecture of the refurbished centre.
