St Marys School Extension
Bedfordshire

Building on the success of the Chiltern school extension HPA continued to work with D+B contractor Reds10 on the detailed design & construction stages for the extension works at St Marys COE Academy in Stotfold.

Located within an area of archaeological interest, the scheme comprised of a new 2 storey modular timber frame school building providing 4 new classroom spaces, and a further traditionally constructed dining hall extension.

The building was clad with a mixture of insulated cladding panels, and factory fitted brick slips to blend in with the more traditional appearance of the existing buildings. HPA also co-ordinated the discharge of Planning conditions and submission of further NMA application.

The project commenced on site in February 2015, and was completed in August 2015.
