What Our Clients Think

“We had an excellent relationship with HPA on North East Autism Society and look forward to working with them again the near future”
- Heron Bros – NEAS
“We at Heron Bros. Ltd. have used HPA Architecture as our Design Partner and Lead Consultant on several of our recent successful commissions both in Northern Ireland and England. During this time, we have found HPA responsive to the needs of the client, commercially focused in relation to specification versus cost, as well as competent / efficient in design co-ordination across the consultant team. With their ‘hands on’ director-led approach and ‘can do’ attitude, we have together delivered projects on time, on budget and exceeded client expectations.”
- Martin O’Kane, Deputy Managing Director, Heron Bros Ltd
“Concerning Warwick McCullough and HPA Architecture, speaking on behalf of the Development Committee at Ballydown Presbyterian, I would have no hesitation in recommending this team to participate or lead in the construction of any Worship Centre. Warwick from the first meeting understood the needs of a church and how it functioned then provided a balanced mixture of listening to our needs and suggesting alternative methods and solutions. We found ourselves being greatly motivated by the enthusiasm generated by Warwick and his team at HPA, this included presentations to and literature for the congregation, fund raising methods, visitations to other churches, etc. his energy is infectious. HPA delivered a highly successful project ahead of time, on budget and to a greater specification that we had thought possible within our budget. The work was carried out in an ethical and moral manner with a great deal of flexibility being shown when required. We at Ballydown would highly recommend HPA and would be more than happy to discuss the project in person if that was seen as beneficial.”
- Trevor Campbell
“We at Emmanuel have no reservations in recommending HPA Architecture as a leading design and management consultancy. HPA's design embraced a modern architectural approach providing an expressive and functional solution to our design needs. In quickly recognising the financial constraints on Emmanuel of such a project HPA kept a tight control and trace on the costs right from the start. Proficient project management meant savings were made as the project progressed and this together with the proactive attitude of HPA enabled us to accomplish more of what we aspired to achieve. It makes a pleasant change to deal with a company that takes pride in providing a first class service.”
- Emmanuel Management Team
“HPA's communication and patience with the deacons was excellent, and were able to plan our extension to what we required working in a difficult site. They were able to excite and enthuse the members at various meetings. The project was delivered to the site on time and within our budget. Our building is now at construction stage and ongoing communication with HPA has been second to none.”
- David Martin, Emmanuel Baptist Church, Lisburn
“We have been on a path to find a new home for approximately 3 years. We initially were dealing direct with a developer / builder who designed what appeared to be a good building for us. Warwick and the team at HPA brought fresh vision to the team, in particular they took a lot of time to understand how we operate as a Church and what we really wanted in the building. They ensured that the building was structured around our vision, rather than the other way round! For me however, the biggest benefit about working with HPA and Warwick is that they share our passion to build the Kingdom, and have a heart to reach the lost.”
- Stuart Nelson, Lead Team, LHCC Douglas
“HPA provided a good service and also provided a thorough coordination service with M&E Engineer which was beyond their scope – much appreciated.”
- BMR – St Pancras Toilets, London
“Throughout the design development process, HPA have been fantastic. With a combination of excellence in all things architecture and an acute understanding of the demands of dynamic modern day church, they have worked tirelessly to tease out the design detail and reflect on drawings our heart for church. Their capacity, ability and desire to communicate and present updates to the whole church is reflected in their approach to lead design workshops with ministry leaders and their teams and has been instrumental in maintaining unity and momentum amongst the congregation. HPA have exceeded our expectations and in so doing we believe we have more than we than might otherwise have anticipated. Truly a pleasure to work with...”
- Trevor Dunlop, Exec Team, Green Pastures, The People’s Church
“From the earliest stages of planning, HPA Architecture took account of the differences in autistic thinking and perception, which can give rise to confusion, anxiety and fear. Whilst it is still ‘early days’ in our new school, already we can see many positive outcomes for our young people. The development of an appropriate learning environment for pupils with an ASD should be driven by the particular needs and strengths arising from autism. There should be evidence that the organisation and structure of the environment supports the communication, social, sensory and curricular needs of the pupils. The environment should make a clear statement of the respect and value we place on each individual and of the high expectations we have for their progress and achievements. At the time of writing this report (14 March 2013) there is abundant evidence that North East Centre for Autism is already achieving its mission.or our young people.”
- Janet Stirling, North East Autism Society
